As a business coach i’ve heard a lot of business owners talk about their dreams for the business, their desire to reach the next level, the intent to explore new and exciting opportunities. Do you notice how this language is far from pro-active and actionable? Talking about your goals, your dreams, won’t get you very far… you need to take action and remain proactive, positive and forward-thinking.
I understand how hard it can be to take the first step, especially when fear or risk is involved. However, success won’t come to you. As the saying goes:
If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.
If you want to make a change but take no action, nothing will change and you will remain stuck. It is a vicious cycle that is all too easy to get comfortable with.
