Many business owners know a lot about business – they know they need to:

  • sell their products/services and ensure a consistent flow of sales
  • have sufficient cash to stay in business and
  • make a profit.

The goals listed above are pretty common in all businesses. Admittedly they are high level and yes, there is a set of actions that have to be done to achieve these goals (like marketing, sales, preparing and reviewing financials etc). Most business owners also have a good idea of the tasks that need to be done.

So what’s the issue?

The issue is not NOT KNOWING what to do – it is NOT DOING what you know.

I find that the biggest barrier to most business owners achieving their goals is a lack focus and discipline.

  • Focus –being clear on your goals and prioritising and resourcing them
  • Discipline – having the right habits and not being side-tracked from doing what you have identified as required. Being persistent in the face of challenges.

How are you going to do what you know you need to do?

Business coaching brings clarity, purpose and accountability. It keeps you focused on the things you know will make a difference to your business and bring you closer to achieving your goals.
