How do you handle difficult people in a presentation?

How do you handle tough questions when presenting a seminar?

I’ve put together today’s video to give you some ideas on how to handle these from personal experiences I’ve had.

An example of the first scenario was when I was running a workshop & it got very heated.

Let’s just say there were 2 very passionate people in the room who had different views on how things should get done.

They ended up screaming at each other across the table.

There were 10 others on the workshop.

The second scenario is when you get a question you don’t know how to answer.

Here are a few ideas of how to resolve this one:

1. If it’s a question everyone would benefit from, then ask the person what they’ve already tried.

2. Get everyone in the room to work with their table/partners & come up with 3 ideas.

3. Ask for volunteers to talk through their teams suggestions. There should be enough knowledge in the room to answer the question & you’ve created an interactive exercise.
