Elite Business, the publication dedicated to inspiring Britain’s SMEs, is celebrating 10 years of entrepreneurship with livestream panel discussions at the UK’s top business expos.

Elite Business has partnered with Tech Show London, the SME Xpo, Ideas Fest, Technology for Marketing, bringing livestream panel discussions around key topics for SMEs in 2023. The programme kicks off at the Tech Show London on the 8th of March on the Big Data & AI World Keynote Stage, focusing on ‘How to build the ultimate tech team for your SME business.’

‘Pay for tech talent or grow your own and train in-house: How to build the ultimate tech team for your SME business’ will focus on whether SMEs should pay above and beyond for a super skilled tech team or upskill existing employees.

The livestreamed panel discussion will discuss the merit of paying for outside expertise versus increasing training budgets to upskill existing employees. The discussion will be hosted by Hannah Prevett, Deputy editor, The Times Enterprise Network at The Times & The Sunday Times, and Founding Editor, Elite Business.

The panel includes Melissa Snover – Award winning CEO and Founder at Nourish3d and Script3d, Kim Antoniou – Award winning entrepreneur, founder and inventor of tech for good for positive Impact,  Auris Tech/Kafoodle, Will Hale – Group Director EMEA, Monday.com, previous executive at Cisco & Salesforce, and Ketan Makwana – Chair & Founder of Seventy7 Ventures, Web3 Catalyst with focus on Media, Entertainment & Sports, TEDx Speaker, Author & Mentor.

The discussion, which will take place on day one of the Tech Show London, will address the critical roles that SMEs must have in today’s modern business world in order to be AI and data savvy. The expert panellists will share their challenges and top tips for building an ultimate tech team and, crucially, how to avoid mistakes and plan for the future of AI and data.
