The majority of my career has been spent helping businesses identify and manage risks. With a particular focus on Treasury related areas such as Currency and Interest rate exposure alongside Cash and Liquidity Management I have worked in Belfast, Dublin, London and Jersey. I have built and managed client portfolios and sales teams across a wide range of industry sectors helping businesses of all shapes and sizes from one man bands up to global brand names.
So What
The key to my success over the years has been an inquisitive nature. A desire to understand both the person and the business I am dealing with. It is only when you see the full picture that you can properly appreciate the risks and opportunities and so deliver appropriate solutions.
Having spent so many years working with SME’s I am well aware of the myriad challenges and struggles business owners face. When I left the Corporate world of Financial Services I wanted to find a new way of helping the business owners I so admired. How could I best use my skills and experience ? It took me some time to find the answer to that question but ActionCOACH offered the ideal vehicle. It provided me a way to bring about profound and lasting change not just in terms of the performance of the businesses I work with but also in the lives of the owners.
