Often business owners will put their businesses before their family life, justifying it that the business makes the money that allows them the money or potential money. Often its the “you get out what you put in” attitude that drives the owner. However great that is, what is the point of running a business if everything else in your life has to suffer? you may plan to work hard for a short period but it can’t be the end goal. Most owners own their businesses because they had a skill or passion for one area, they soon realise that owning a business means learning and often doing different jobs that doesn’t allow them to do the thing they set up to do. It’s essential that you have someone in your business that can help you stay strong, accountable and stick to the plan.
