David Massey – David Massey Garden ConstructionLike most businesses, I was good at the job I do, but probably not actually that good at running a business. I was trained to build walls and lay patios, not the big part of running a business – the financial side, the marketing, learning that through Stuart has really taken the business forward.
I’ve spoken to various business coaches in the past, but what I like about Stuart is the fact that I know he’s been out there and set up successful businesses, he’s not just preaching, he’s been out there and done it.
Like many business owners, David owned a job and not a business. What I mean by this is, that the business didn’t work without him. He had to turn up every day to make sure jobs were completed, that the books were done, enquiries were dealt with. David has mastered the fundamentals of business. Now that systems are being developed, the business doesn’t rely on him. David adds value to the business in the areas that he enjoys the most. You can see some of the amazing work his team does here.
