At first Next Generation Scaffolding was a bit unsure about business coaching, as it was just another cost that would be coming out of our profit and paying someone that in our eyes knew nothing about our trade.
We was naïve to even second guess the thought of business coaching and cannot recommend enough getting a coach to anyone, especially Tanya who has helped us completely changed and revamp our business from the ground up.
Tanya has a trades business herself so understands some of our major issues and we spent the first couple of months really working on these, getting ourselves off the tools and getting all our staff in line. Tanya advise we get all our staff on board with what we’re doing and explain to them where we want to be as a company, this has given us a solid team with everyone aiming for the same goals. Doing this with our employees has helped us to get off the tools full time now and more than double our amount of staff in only 6 months.
Before we started we working with Tanya we had no idea of our numbers and profit&loss, so she helped us set up trackers and spreadsheets so we know every part of our business now. With this we now have much better cash flow and can pick and choose only our best clients to work with.
We have recently completed our yearly and long term goals with Tanya, with one being to start new business’, which for the first time since we started I feel we will easily reach and even surpass.
Starting to work with Tanya at Action Coach was the best thing we’ve done at Next Generation Scaffolding and can’t wait to see how far we can go with her help and guidance in 2018.
