The ActionCOACH 6 steps growth model and focusing on how to build high performance teams, based on a strong company culture, was exactly what The Myers Touch were looking for.
I was first introduced to Keith and Helena from The Myers Touch back in 2010 by another client of mine, who was impressed by the quality of kitchens they produced, and saw a lot of potential that they were not quite fulfilling. At that time, they were doing OK, had just hired a new sales designer and were quite happy with the business as it was. I met them again at a few networking events, but the time was never right for me to work with them. At the end of 2016, their sales person had left the business and unfortunately hadn’t achieved the sales growth they had hoped for. In fact, profits were down, and Keith was looking for some new inspiration. I finally managed to get Keith to come along to see ActionCOACH founder, Brad Sugars, speaking at a big Action event in Southampton. At the end Keith asked to meet Brad and I was happy to oblige. The ActionCOACH 6 steps growth model and focusing on how to build high performance teams, based on a strong company culture, was exactly what Keith was looking for. Working with Keith and Helena has been very enjoyable. Our weekly meetings are light-hearted but results-driven. Keith is a designer, artist, and very creative, so keeping him focussed on one thing is tough. Helena is the complete opposite, being very detailed, task-orientated and loves to finish what she starts, so they make a great team. So great, in fact, that they have increased their profits by 625%! This year we have been working on building a fantastic team and engaging the team with the vision, values and purpose of the company, and this has been very successful. Keith says, “Our goal for 2018 is to have a team that will run the business for us and give Helena and I the opportunity to have a month off to travel next year. ActionCOACH has been key to keeping us focused and on track with our 90 day plans, and helping us train our team. We have a little way to go but are 100% confident that we will get there.”
