A Lot of people reading this who run their own business will have at one time worked for someone else. You will have had 4 or 5 weeks holiday a year and 6 weeks sick pay if you needed it.
You will have had hours you were contracted to do and although you may have worked longer you didn’t always have to, you quite possibly even earn’t more money than you do now.
At some point, you decided to go on your own, to work twice as many hours for half as much pay with no holiday and no sick cover.
Why did you do it?
There must have been a reason, there must be something you wanted to achieve when you started out what was it?
Was it a better work life balance, more money, control, challenge, to share your ideas with the world or just to prove to someone that you could?
Whatever it was, whatever it is that makes you do what you do that needs to be the basis for your vision, for how you will operate as a business, it should drive your values and your planning.
That is the only way you will achieve what you set out to achieve when you decided to go your own way.
If you have wondered why I write these, it’s because that is what I do, I started my business to help yours achieve its goals and this is one of the ways I stay true to that
How do you stay true to your Dreams and Goals?
