Why don’t you just switch off the TV and go and do something more interesting instead?

As is so often the case something came up this week that made me think and I wanted to share with you all.

My daughter is into a new band from America called “Why don’t We” which reminded me of a kid’s TV show with the title “Why Don’t You” and the catch phrase above, maybe some of you will remember it?
