It was a Car Crash!
6 Police cars.
2 Ambulances.
3 crumpled vehicles.
I was on the way back from a conference on Saturday and saw the carnage. The Fosse Way is a renowned black spot for collisions. It’s a deceptive road, it looks straight, but curves so that there’re loads of blind spots.
It’s one of those roads where you get stuck behind a slow moving truck – forever.
⭐ Drivers get impatient. ⭐
They see what they think’s a safe spot to overtake.
They know it’s risky, but they have a fast car.
They put their foot down, pull out… and BOOM a car coming the other way smashes into them. Miraculously no-one was hurt.
Got me thinking about business and how essential a 90 day Cash Flow Forecast is.
Without knowing what’s financially around the corner, business owners get impatient with lack of progress, they take a risk and make rash decisions.
They put their foot down on the money-pedal, spend more than they should.
When they’ve committed themselves they realise what they’ve done with horror.
And it leads to a cash crash… and sometimes the end of their business!
