I know – I’ll go self-employed and make more money – get up; go to work; work harder; go home later; might be making more money but…….. Hang on a second – sounds familiar?????? And that’s before impact you factor in the impact on family/social time and the hassle of having to manage staff.
True Business Ownership
I set up a business that can run profitably on its own without needing me all (any) of the time.
How does that work? What is essential is a clear vision of where you want to get to, and then building the plan, the systems and team that enables that to become a reality, and being held accountable to achieving those goals. Finding someone who can hold you accountable will be the best thing you can ever do; applying it to ourselves is an aspiration but in reality very difficult to adhere to.
