Regardless of how you feel, a new week is always around the corner.

Here are a few tips which are done by successful people, recommended to engage in positive thinking before ending the week:

  • Plan your upcoming week – set goals with deadlines for the week ahead.
  • Take part in a form of exercise e.g. a class at the gym or simply a walk – sweat out the toxins of the week and centre yourself to start a new one.
  • Many successful people read each night before bed – make “Sunday night reading” part of your routine.
  • Journal – jot down your thoughts to help you get to the bottom of what is stressing you out. It may give you the perspective that things aren’t so bad after all.
  • Nothing will take your mind away from stresses in your life like helping people who are less fortunate – find ways to volunteer or help in your local community.
  • If your week ahead is jammed and you are unlikely to be available – create some time to spend with your loved ones.
  • Sundays provide a great opportunity to do some cultural activity – this could be seeing a play, visiting an art museum, or going to local historical sites.
