“We’ve been in business since 1953. I took on our business properly around 10 years ago, although I’ve been working here since 1989. We were moving generally in an “ok” direction, but we wanted to move it further forward and we felt that some help and advice would be the right way to go. We needed some professional business help in general.

“I was physically working a lot more hours than I am now and probably had a different trail of thought about the business than what we currently have. I was at first sceptical, but coaching has certainly given us some benefits. Personally, it gives me a different sounding board, which is really important for me.

“I am very fortunate to have a wife who’s very supportive of what I do, but Andrew gives me that different angle that my parents could give me (being a family-run business),

“We run a lot of school buses, operating 60 contracts throughout the day. 3 or 4 years ago it was highly expected that I would be running on a school contract most days, whereas that has certainly changed now. I recommend Andrew to lots of different people and I endeavour people to use a coach. I think it gives people a different vision and different ideas.
