Business owners in Yorkshire will be relieved to discover that ActionCOACH is stepping in to support small and medium sized businesses after the Government announced it was axing its Business Growth Service.
The Growth Accelerator (GA) was a £200 million scheme which helped up to 26,000 small businesses in England grow and develop by providing them with access to the help of business advisors and coaches.
With this scheme, small to medium sized businesses were able to receive double the amount of investment they put in for business advisers and coaches, meaning a business investing £1500 would receive £3000 worth of business training and/or coaching.
With this cut being a consequence of the Government’s £84 million saving plan, thousands of businesses have been reeling. But ActionCOACH will still continue the deal. We believe this type of funding is crucial for small businesses and many of them will now face overwhelming challenges. That’s why we are so committed to supporting them however we can.
