Operating in a highly competitive sector Ginger Video have manged to translate their creative excellence into commercial success with an initial year on year increase in turnover and profit of over 23%. The figures however mask the scale of the hard work the management team have expended over their first 12 months of coaching. As their coach it has been hugely rewarding to work with such a determined team and rarely have I seen a team where the desire to succeed is so great.
After many years of “winging it” (their words not mine!) they have now introduced robust financial controls, systems and processes to facilitate their business growth plans.
They have rapidly developed a comprehensive targeted marketing plan to give them a much more consistent pipeline of new business and the confidence to invest in the team.Consequently, the team has already been boosted by the introduction of a new production assistant and digital marketing apprentice. Furthermore through ongoing coaching support they are rapidly building a “winning team” grounded in their core values with genuine areas of responsibilities and clear levels of accountability for delivering even greater success in the years ahead.
