Before I was working with Stuart, the challenges of the business were growing in a sustainable and profitable manner. Acquiring new clients has always been something that we’ve been reasonably good at, but we really wanted to grow much more ambitiously. Whilst we are strong technically of what we do, we are also mindful of where we have weaknesses and development points, particularly around marketing and branding, and that’s why we went to ActionCOACH. Working with Stuart has helped us to create ideas to achieve that.

A new strategy that we’ve implemented due to working with Stuart is asking clients for referrals. Previously, I would have recoiled from such an idea, but it’s been really powerful. And we are seeing considerate amounts of new business come through that way.

Things have improved since working with ActionCOACH in that Stuart has kind of wired into a part of my brain that I didn’t know was there. So, I started to think more broadly about the business, where we needed to develop and really the the scale of ambition that we should be aiming for.

As of four months of working with Stuart, we’ve materially changed the way we recruit staff. We’ve identified, we’ve crafted our company culture and values and it’s really helped us to drill down into the kind of person that we want to join our business to help us achieve our ambitions.

Working with Stuart has provided us with an extensive network of like-minded people. We’ve signed up two new clients in the past couple of months of people that I’ve met through the ActionCOACH network and we have other meetings lined up.

We like working with Stuart and his team, because they got to know us, taken the time to get to know us really well. So for example, when I turn up at their offices, they always have an Earl Grey tea ready for me, which is very thoughtful. Stuart is extremely challenging and holds me accountable so he has me working hard and that’s all good.
