Hi Steve,
After our meeting this week I just wanted to write a short note thanking you for the last nine months. I hope you have a great Christmas and I’m sure we will meet up in the new year.
It has been great to work with you over the last 9 months which has allowed me to develop the business and personally.
The Growth Clubs have given me and the business focus on specific tasks that have been a great way to look into what the business needs to move it forward over a 3 month period and how to achieve it. By taking a step back and looking at the business from the outside using the steps at each of the Growth clubs make it easier to clarify what’s important at that time and what needs to be done to move the business forward.
Alongside the Growth Clubs having regular coaching sessions with yourself brings the focus to a shorter time scale, or smaller more specific chunks. These sessions have really helped me to take time out and think. Which sounds a little strange but generally I would get caught up in day to day activity and deal with what happens on a reactionary basis rather than taking the time to see how we can proactively move the business on.
Action coach has given me focus and advice which has led to the business growing! Personally for me it has given me the support I needed to make sure we are going in the right direction. It’s given me the confidence to take time out of the working week for thinking about the business. This time has been invaluable and as a result it is something I now do regularly. We all know planning is an important part of any business but something rarely done as regularly as it’s needed.
