This week, I came across a quote that really struck a chord: “Your bank account is a reflection of your philosophy in life, not your circumstances.”
At first glance, it’s a bold—and maybe even controversial—statement. Many people would respond, “But you don’t understand my situation.” And yes, everyone’s circumstances are different. But the deeper meaning behind the quote is this: most people aren’t struggling because of poverty. They’re struggling because of comfort.
Especially in the business world, many people are doing just enough to get by. They’re not poor—but they’re comfortable. And comfort, while it feels good in the short term, is often the biggest enemy of progress.
Why? Because success lives outside your comfort zone.
