A lot of my clients often questions why I’m still coached, despite being a coach myself.

I have been coached since 2007, and I will always have a coach as long as I am breathing.

People have coaches for different reasons.

Initially, I wanted my coach to help me achieve financial freedom through business.

Now that my purpose in life is to help 10,000 business owners achieve the same, I have a coach for a very different reason.

A coach is there to get the very best out of you.

Once of the things I am terrified of is wasted potential.

Somebody once said something to me which was a very scary thought.

What would life be like, if in 20 years you met the person you could have been?

That question always stuck with me, and from then on, I knew that I want to be the best version of myself that I can possibly be.

What is it that stops us from being as successful as we possibly can be?

I’m sure you will agree that we all have a little voice in our heads. I know that when we often want to achieve something, that voice may be telling us to do something else. It may be telling us to slack off, take the easy route, or not bother.

If it is that voice in our head that’s stopping us, are we actually any good at managing it, or do we succumb to it?

One of the main reasons I have a coach because I know my coach will hold me accountable for the things I promised myself that I would do,. Without that accountability, I would probably let myself off, and listen to the voice in my head.

My coach is also somebody who asks me questions, sometimes difficult questions, I would have thought to ask myself.

A coach can get you to look at your situation from a fresh perspective.

Help you work through any challenges with a fresh set of eyes.

They can draw on their experiences, and the experiences of others, to learn from successes and mistakes.

A smart person learns from their mistakes, a genius learns from the mistakes of others.

So that’s a short summary of why I still have a coach, and I still get massive value from it.

To this day, coaching has given me an 80x ROI, an extremely worthwhile investment!
